• More than talkin’ the talk, Corey walks the walk! His Mother and Father instilled in Corey a strong dependence and faith in God, and Corey lives his life based on those strong beliefs. He and his wife Carmela have been married for over 20 years, and together are raising their six children. The Maclin family regularly attends the Oak Spring Baptist Church in Arlington, Tennessee.

• Corey is a successful businessman and a strong believer in the private sector where small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. Since 1997 Corey has been president/CEO of Corey Maclin and Associates, a full service advertising agency with over 200 clients handling revenue in excess of ten million dollars.

• Corey knows the right way to run a business and also knows the Shelby County Clerk’s Office should be run with accessibility, user friendliness with a customer service orientation that ties in the community and it’s concerns. He promises to render service first along with integrity.

• Corey being a business owner for over 13 years knows the importance of being earnest and systematic. This is why among his first initiatives for the clerk’s office is set to include: Saturday service and online registration and renewal.
