Corey Maclin is a native Memphian who has worked in the community since the young age of 14. Corey is a graduate of Millington Central High School and was first
employed with the U.S. Postal Service part-time in Millington (his home town). At age 16 Maclin was employed by the Memphis Park Commission as the youngest Park Commissioner during summers at E.A. Harold Park in Millington. He was also the youngest on-air radio personality in the city of Memphis, hired at KFTH107.1 FM gospel on weekends. He later moved to full-time six
nights a week while attending high school. Maclin at age 18, was named the youngest Program-Director ever hired at AM 1340 WLOK Radio. Maclin was later hired at age 19 as the the co-host on Memphis Wrestling, joining Dave Brown at WMC-TV 5 for over 13 years.
Maclin was later Advertising Director for The Memphis Silver Star News, and later launched his own company, Corey Maclin & Associates, full-service advertising agency. Maclin's agency has handled millions of dollars for clients in and out of Memphis and Shelby County. Maclin in 1999 took over as President/CEO of Memphis Wrestling in charge of all day-to-day operations, including, television production, talent relations, marketing, budgeting and a host of other duties.
Maclin's company currently hosts "Memphis Wrestling" under it's umbrella has launched in several markets nation-wide to include the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy and the Bahamas, Memphis Wrestling currently is the longest running,
highest rated wrestling television show in wrestling history.
